THE BUILD PROCESS

  1. FIRST CONTACT
    Before the tender process, we like to carry out an onsite meeting to run through the job in regards to expectations, budget, timeframe and any other questions you may have. James Bros Construction prides itself on open and friendly communication right from the start.
     

  2. ESTIMATE
    When it comes to pricing, you need to be as specific as possible with your plans. For example what fixtures, materials that you want to use. This will ensure the quotes are as comparable and accurate as possible.
     

  3. INSURANCES
    James Bros Construction also has all necessary and current insurances: Public Liability Insurance, HazardCo Work Safe Members, Contract Works Insurance, Home Warranty Insurance. We only use fully insured Sub-Contractors for any building or renovation carried out by James Bros Construction.
     

  4. CONTRACTS
    James Bros Construction carries out work which can be “fixed price” or “cost plus” and the contracts are drawn up accordingly.  Once you’ve selected us for your project we’ll provide you with a building contract and guarantee application forms. We’ll check your council requirements are in order. We’ll prepare you a full programme and detailed project timeline.
     

  5. COMPLETION
    Your project is finished. We can have your house cleaned prior to you moving back in and all rubbish and building materials will be removed. We will organise your final Code of Compliance Certificate, and provide you with all your warranties, and a maintenance schedule. It’s time to enjoy your new home!
